A Tribute to the late Joan Sutherland / homenaje a Joan Sutherland

The 'Stupenda' initiative in memoriam of Joan Sutherland.

From this blog, I propose to all the broadcast classic radio stations all over the world to broadcast, at 00:00 hours Australian (Sydney) time, (EDT, UTC +11) on november 7th, the aria ' Casta Diva' of Bellini's Norma sung by Sutherland, the very day she would have turned 84.
With this tribute we would like to recognize the great contribution of Dame Sutherland to the Opera World, and be thankful to her for all the great moments that we enjoyed by means of her incomparable voice.

I strongly beg all readers of this blog to support this initiative, passing this information to all the classic radio stations of your knowledge.

Iniciativa 'la Stupenda' en memoria de Joan Sutherland

Desde este blog, propongo a todas las emisoras de radio de música clásica del mundo, difundir a las 00:00 horas de Sydney, Australia (UTC +11, +9 con respecto a España), del día 7 de noviembre, el aria 'Casta Diva' de la Norma de Bellini cantada por la Sutherland, justo en el momento en que ella hubiera cumplido 84.
Con este tributo nos gustaría reconocer la gran contribución de Dame Sutherland al mundo de la Opera, y darle así las gracias por los grandes momentos de disfrute que hemos tenido gracias a su incomparable voz.
